The nana concept project was developed during the third semester at Södertörns University as a school assignment. The assignment was to build a brand from scratch and create an appealing visual identity. The team began the project with a discussion about different bad experiences we’ve had throughout our life and we all agreed that festivals should become safer places to enjoy music with your friends.

Design team:

Linus Åhlstedt, Johanna Yarlett, Matilda Wiberg, Ella Blomdahl & Esteban Donoso.

During stage one, the empathy stage of our process, we created several personas to have an image of our target audience. For each and one of them we also created mood boards in order to have a visual guideline to draw inspiration from when moving to stage two.

During stage two we explored the word mark and trade mark, we also explored textures, colors, imagery and messaging for the brand.

The result became a logo that speaks of unity, taking care of one another and strength in numbers. Coupled with a playful messaging we achieved a solution that is appropriate for the brand, adaptable to many applications and attractive for the intended user.
